About
I can’t remember a time when I didn’t sketch or design and during my school holidays I was able to fully unleash my creativity when I stayed with my grandmother. She was a wedding dress seamstress, any left over scraps of trimmings and adornments from the wedding dresses would be put into her ‘bits bag’. I used this treasure trove to make all kinds of crafty things which encouraged my interest in design.
I called my brand Camille after a film that I watched as a teenager because it represented the beauty and style of bygone times and I wanted to create exquisite timeless stylish designs.
My tiaras, crowns and bridal headpieces have been featured in publications such as Italian VOGUE, Weddings & Honeymoons,You & Your Wedding and Asian Bride. Katherine Tate, the comedian, wore my headpieces in a recent holiday programme for Channel 4.
My love of Nature and all things botanical encouraged me to start designing headpieces with this in mind and now creating botanical features as part of my designs is my passion.
I also enjoy working with brides making bespoke pieces to complement their wedding dresses. It’s a joy to create a unique design and I love the process of collaboration, working with ideas that you may already have.
Other facts about me…
I love cheese, curry and Bob Marley. I watch on TV, true crime stories and anything about Ancient Rome, dinosaurs and period dramas or romances. I think you would call this an eclectic mix!
All of my designs are lovingly handcrafted in my rural studio in Wales. I adore producing beautiful pieces for brides….for me it’s the perfect job.
